Tip of the Day: "Once you pick those style elements that you love, use them in more than one way for a 'pulled together' and cohesive wedding design," says Aviva Samuels, the creative force behind Kiss the Planner.

For example, if your chuppah or ceremony arch is constructed of birch branches, you can use that element in your napkin treatments, centerpieces, or aisle arrangements as well. If you love bling elements, incorporate those crystals not just in the centerpiece, but also on the invitation, seating cards or elsewhere.

Tip of the Day: Most couples want to see the spot where they decide to get married before the big day, and just because you’re having a destination wedding doesn’t mean that can’t happen. Ask the hotel if they have any special packages or discounts for pre-wedding visits.

"At Paradisus, we offer couples the Love at First Sight package inviting those planning a destination wedding to visit the resorts, see the locations and feel the vibes, prior to the big day," says Marilyn Cairo, the Corporate Romance Manager for Paradisus Resorts. Afterwards, the couple is able to receive the value of this package as a credit towards their big day.
