Don’t want to have a first look? You can still take photos together before the ceremony — without seeing each other!

Tip of the Day: Schedule a hair trial on the morning of your bridal shower or another big event, rather than choosing a random weekday. That way, you'll be all dolled up for a good cause and you have a great opportunity to test your new chic style and see how long it lasts!

Tip of the Day: Pumpkins, gourds, and other farmers' market finds make for fantastic and budget-friendly wedding décor. One idea we love: Use miniature white pumpkins to create a stunning escort card display! If you can't find white ones in your area, have a little DIY fun by spray-painting yellow or orange pumpkins. Add silver or gold glitter for extra visual impact.

Tip of the Day: Autumn is a popular time to shoot engagement photos. A big trend is going casual in what you're wearing and setting a tone that captures your love for this glorious season — kicking back, getting cozy, wrapping yourselves in a warm blanket and cuddling. If that's your couple style, bring that into your engagement photos.

Tip of the Day: Send a test invite to yourself before you mail all of your invitations! "Let's face it — the Post Office isn't always so careful when handling mail," says Nichole Rocero of Nic.Roc. Designs.
"If your invitation comes back bent out of shape, consider housing your invitation inside of a pocket holder, card stock envelopes, or a boxed mailer," she says. If you're not happy with the way your invite looks, she suggests adding an envelope liner, which adds character.
Also, keep in mind that cotton envelopes tend to pick up more debris and dirt, so you may want to consider using metallic envelopes, instead.
