Cute Cake Stand Alert!

There is something so deeply appealing about a cake stand, is there not? Lately, I’ve been obsessed with them. And if you’re a bride-to-be, you may be, too. If that’s the case, then get thee to The Shops at Target, a group of stylish pop-up stores, featuring all manner of carefully curated home goods, clothing, gifts and decor. Oh, and the keyword is “pop-up.” The Shops are open until the second week of October, while supplies last.

Tip of the Day: Play the "Caption It" game to guarantee a fun time at any bridal shower. How it works: Create game cards with sweet or funny photos of the bride and groom, distribute three or four to each of your guests, who write their best captions down on the back. The Maid of Honor collects the game cards and can read the best entries out loud, display them on a bulletin board, or insert them into an album.

12 Times Your Single Friends Might Secretly Hate You

We've all been there: Going stag to a big event when everyone else has a plus one; telling your mom that your best friend is engaged and having her oh-so-gently remind you that you're running out of time to give her grandkids; dealing with your friends constantly begging you to let them set you up on blind dates... with the guys they rejected before finding "The One." The list goes on and on. So when we came across the hilarious Tumblr, My Friends are Married, we couldn't help but laugh. Here, the top times when your single friends may secretly want to wring your happily-in-love neck.

When my friend replaces "I" with "we" whenever she talks about anything:

When my friend has quotes about love and marriage hanging all over her house:

When my friend says "hubs" or "hubby":

On the morning of your big day, getting primped with the perfect pre-wedding music can be just as important as picking the right DJ for your actual reception. Setting the tone with the proper soundtrack while you’re getting pretty is critical to building excitement for the evening ahead.  And a solid playlist should reflect the love between you and your soon-to-be partner for life but also foster some bonding (and lip-syncing) with your bridesmaids.  Here are my personal choices for striking that happy-romantic balance on the morning of your wedding.
