Tip of the Day: "A unique symbol or monogram, one designed especially for you and your wedding, can help your design feel cohesive and tell your story. Repeat your logo on a number of items throughout your big day," says Ashley Culicchia Cash from The Graceful Host. You can incorporate your monogram on the save-the-dates, programs, ring bearer pillow, cocktail napkins, koozies and even on late night snack to-go boxes!

Tip of the Day: The pros at La Fete Weddings tell us that the majority of their clients are still choosing Canon in D for their ceremony processional. It wasn't until this year where they started to see some couples opt for music that's more modern and upbeat: "The ceremony should reflect the personalities of the bride and groom just as much as the reception. This creates a fun atmosphere for the guests and we guarantee your wedding party will have a little more fun walking down the aisle as well!"

Tip of the Day: For your bride and groom portraits, choose a location that won’t catch the attention of Uncle Harold, who brings his camera everywhere! "It’s important to spend the time alone, as a bride and groom, with your photographer to make sure they are getting a real moment. Too many spectators or amateur photographers can ruin those precious moments and leave you with stiff portraits," says Lauren Kearns from Lauren Kearns Photography.

Dream Come True: Paralyzed Bride Walks Down the Aisle

Gina Giaffoglione stunned her relatives and friends when she walked down the aisle on September 13, 2014, arm-in-arm with her dad, Gary. She was injured six years ago in a car crash that left her paralyzed from the waist down. When her fiancé John Springhower proposed in 2012, the Iowa native accepted, with one condition: The wedding would have to wait.

After her life-changing accident, this former gymnast continued to coach students using her upper body strength. She was determined not to let her handicap stand in the way of her dream day as well. She endured a year and a half of strenuous physical therapy sessions with her father at CHI Health Rehabilitation at Immanuel Medical Center to make her secret wish come true.

"When you can't feel anything, and you're doing something you used to do that you used to take for granted...it's a floating sensation you can't even explain. Everything just seems to feel so good at that moment," Gina tells KETV.

Tip of the Day: "Brides who are not obsessed with flowers (or may be allergic to them!) need not fret. There are plenty of non-floral designs to get excited about which can still produce a major “wow” factor for your event," says Tracy Taylor Ward from Tracy Taylor Ward Design.

A few décor alternatives include: loading up on hundreds of candles, utilizing herbs or topiaries in lieu of traditional blooms, or even implementing some specialty lighting such as a large cluster of crystal chandeliers hung at different heights over the dance floor.
