Tip of the Day: Many brides spend countless hours pouring over the finest details of their wedding invitation suite. And with good reason; your invitation does more than simply invite your guests to share your special day with you, but it also sets the tone and expectation of your event!

"Don’t forget to have your photographer capture your full wedding invitation suite. You may even want to take a step further and provide a background that compliments the wedding-day papers. I like to bring a piece of mounted pretty clean white fabric to each of our events to make sure we have the perfect backdrop for the photograph. Think about other items that might complement the photograph as well; a single shell, velvet ribbon or sprig of rosemary may be the perfect added touch," says Sarah Miller, event designer at Caplan Miller Events.

Tip of the Day: Before you book any vendors, make sure you fully understand the venue's setup and breakdown timeframes. "Every venue operates differently and varies on what and when they will allow vendors onsite. Make sure you know this information before you finalize any other vendors because it will affect scheduling, manpower needed and what is doable in the timeframe you have. Planning for this ahead of time will prevent any possible conflicts or issues down the road," says Jamie Chang from Mango Muse Events.

Tip of the Day: "One floral trend I hope to see more of is adorning the bridesmaids with floral accessories for the ceremony. You could use pretty hair crowns or — my favorite — a modern take on a vintage arm 'bracelet' of orchids, tied with long, thin ribbons and worn on the wrist or upper arm. I always prefer fresh flowers, but high-quality silk or other handmade materials could work too," says Karen Bussen, author of the Simple Stunning Weddings series and exclusive wedding designer for Palladium Hotels and Resorts.

Tip of the Day: "I've had brides get pushed into gowns they don't love by well-meaning loved ones and it never ends well. They're uncomfortable and fidgeting all night. So I always remind my brides it's not about designer labels or the latest trends. It's about you, your body and what looks and feels best. When you feel comfortable you glow, have a super fab time and look amazing for photos! Now that's how you want to remember your special day right?!" says celebrity planner Andrea Freeman from Andrea Freeman Events.
