Incorporating an orange and black color scheme, Tamara and Jason's wedding truly captured the essence of Halloween. The men donned classic orange ties before changing into hilarious pumpkin ones for the reception. Mini pumpkins were used as escort cards, and skulls made surprise appearances throughout the room's décor. The dramatic centerpieces were adorned with branches and hanging candles. And, of course, no Halloween theme wedding is complete without a candy buffet.

Tip of the Day: Slow down during the processional. "Enjoy your walk down the aisle and make it last! I get that you're nervous but don't deprive yourself of this special moment by rushing through it," says Maik Hassel from Nirvana Photography Studios.

Look at each guest as you're walking down the aisle and don't forget to smile. The same rule applies for the recessional: "There's no need to boot it out of the church or ceremony venue. Kiss slowly, walk out slowly, and give your photographer a chance to capture some amazing shots!"

Tip of the Day: According to the event-planning team at Gramercy Mansion, "Don't bring your entire family for an initial site visit. While it's great to have feedback from parents, your maid of honor, etc., limit the first appointment to just you and your fiancé (and a planner, if you have one). Venue selection is a very personal choice, and it sets the tone for your entire event."

Tip of the Day:  Planning a fall wedding? Skip clear centerpiece bowls or vases, which are better suited for warmer months. Instead, select vessels in copper, bronze, and gold tones, which showcase an autumnal color palette. Fill them with in-season blooms—including sunflowers, peonies, magnolias, delphimiums, and more—to get the most bang for your buck.
