Kyla’s whimsical, over-the-top tea party bridal shower makes us want to take a trip down the rabbit hole with her. Hosts Susan and Dawn—best friends of the mother of the bride—captured the essence of the beloved storybook perfectly. Photographer Chrystal Cienfuegos was there to capture all of the fun as it unfolded.
Kyla came up with the theme, but wanted the rest to be a surprise. The imaginative set-up exceeded her expectations: "I was completely blown away when I walked into the house! It looked like a fairytale dreamland. Every detail was so thoughtful," said the bride-to-be.
"I loved spending time with my closest girlfriends. I wish I could have tea with them like that on a weekly basis—then my life would be complete."

Traditional Tea Party
What could be better than sharing a classic brunch with all of the women who have adored you throughout your entire life? This elegant tea party bridal shower was hosted in honor of Alexis by her sister-in-law, Vanessa, and Vanessa's mother, Lisa.
Alexis knew the date of the shower because she had to travel from Arizona to Colorado (where the event took place), but she was still in awe of all the thought that went into the decorations and treats. "My favorite detail was the cookies that they made to look like tea tags. They read: 'Daniel and Alexis' on the front and 'A perfect blend' on the reverse side. My second favorite was the 'Cooks' champagne (my new last name) that we used for the mimosas," said Alexis.
The highlight of her day: "Two teams dressed my sister and my husband’s grandmother in toilet paper wedding dresses and I had to vote on the best one!"
