The bride created her bouquet using a variety of brooches, some purchased and some borrowed from friends and family. Her bouquet wrap was made from burlap and lace and embellished with a crystal horseshoe brooch for luck.
Hanging mason jars filled with dainty white flowers and greenery lined the aisles.
They exchanged vows beside the scenic Ashley River, surrounded by oak trees draped in Spanish moss, then enjoyed cocktails in a chandeliered tent before heading inside the historic Carriage House for a reception with friends and family.
The bridesmaids’ bouquets featured white flowers, greenery and dusty miller wrapped in burlap and twine.
Burlap sachets filled with lavender were handed out for guests to toss after Jessica and Darren tied the knot.
The couple decorated with shades of green, grey and white, which they felt reflected both the natural beauty of their plantation surroundings as well as the modernity of their home in Manhattan. The outdoor tent, furnished with cozy lounge areas, created a chic yet comfortable setting for the cocktail hour.
