Kerri and Mike met in the emergency room of the hospital where Kerri works as a nurse in Boston, MA. Mike got seven stitches on his finger that day, and 13 months later put a ring on Kerri's! Kerri followed a set of clues through Mike's apartment where he had set up over 200 photos of their relationship, including screenshots of their first text messages. The clues led her to the roof-deck where Mike was standing with two dozen red roses, and just as the sun was rising he bent down on one knee and asked her to marry him.

The bride wore a bedazzled ball gown designed by Casablanca Bridal. "The dress I chose was the third one I tried on, I instantly fell in love with its princess ball gown look. The beading and gem work was exquisite," Kerri said.

Mike designed Kerri's one-of-a-kind ring himself. He added seven diamonds to each side of the center stone to symbolize the seven stitches he received at the hospital the day the couple met. Kerri's diamond and platinum eternity band is an exact copy of the side stones from her engagement ring and Mike's band is made of pollished Palladium.
For Kerri's something old and borrowed she wore the watch that her grandfather gave her grandmother on their wedding day — 65 years ago!
In a Naples Beach Hotel guest room overlooking the ocean, Hope Artistry was on hand for hair and makeup, and created a romantic look for Kerri and her bridesmaids. "I loved getting ready with my bridesmaids in the morning and having my mother-in-law join us," the bride said.
The Flower Spot designed Kerri's bouquet using an eclectic mix of pink and white flowers. Color was her main priority, “I used a lot of garden roses, and a lot of pink. I wanted my bouquet to pop!,” she said.
The beautiful palm trees and verdant landscape of the Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club perfectly complemented Kerri and Mike's color palette. “I always envisioned a light pink and classic black tux wedding. Spring in Florida was a no brainer, Kerri said.”
Kerri shares a special moment with her mom before the ceremony.
Kerri's twin sisters were her Maids of Honor and six of her closest friends served as bridesmaids. The girls wore rose pink off-the-shoulder gowns from Jim Hjelm.
