Pretty in Pink: Taylor & Peter in Georgetown, SC
Taylor Elizabeth Morris-Metzger and Peter Daniel Metzger got married in a sophisticated Southern affair on April 12, 2014 with 100 of their nearest and dearest. Shades of pink, the bride’s signature color, was incorporated into everything from the floral arrangements to the dessert hour to the bridesmaid dresses and more, imbuing the event with glamour and elegance.

The bride did a "first look" with her father for emotional support.
The blushing bride wore a fit-and-flare wedding gown designed by Kathy Ireland for Mon Cheri, which she purchased from Bridals by Lori. “I saved the most on my wedding dress. I wanted a fitted satin style, and once I found this dress with its satin train, I knew it was perfect,” Taylor says.
In a sentimental touch, Taylor carried a peony and rose bouquet with white ostrich feathers, in remembrance of her late mother, Billie. "The feathers remind me of my late mother. After my grandmother had passed, she would always tell me that if I saw a feather, I would know that my grandma was nearby watching over me. Feathers have had a special significance for me ever since," the bride reveals.
The handsome groom donned an Ike Behar tuxedo for the black-tie event.
Taylor and Peter purchased the engagement ring diamond and then had it set by Paulo Geiss Jewelers in Charleston. They also picked out their wedding bands there.
William Arthur designed the couple's beautifully intricate, laser-cut invitations, and Calligraphy by Request addressed the envelopes.
"Pete chose his two brothers as his best men, and I selected my matron and maid of honor because they were the most supportive during my mother's passing," Taylor reveals.
