After Joel Webber proposed to event designer Sasha Souza, she turned to her friends in the wedding business to make her day truly special. “All of my vendors were also guests,” Sasha says. “The entire event was built by friends and loved ones.” After a three-month engagement, the couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony with 50 guests in attendance at Brix Restaurant in the California wine country.

The newlyweds recited their vows as the sun set on the Napa Valley hills behind them, then sat down for dinner with their guests while dueling pianos played.

For escort cards, the newlyweds hung die-cut tags onto an antique door to symbolize their entry into a new phase of life.

The couple said their vows beneath a bleached grapevine pergola adorned with flowers.

The couple chose décor in shades of peach and aqua, colors they felt were light and airy but still striking. Colorful streamers were suspended over two long reception tables, which were garnished with unique textured linens, glittering gold candlesticks and blue flower-filled cupcake terrariums.

Guests lounged on blue and white chairs.

Cupcake terrariums filled with astilbe and ranunculus topped the reception tables.

Textured linens were topped with gold chargers, die-cut menus and each guest’s laser-cut name.
