Dream Day: Claudia & Rigo in Meyers, IN

After meeting at work nearly a decade ago, Rigo and Claudia fell in love and years later were engaged. As the winners of our "Bridal Guide Dream Wedding Design Contest," they were able to consult with celebrity wedding planner David Tutera, who helped devise their magical day.

Their venue, Meyers Castle, was the perfect locale to carry out the couple's regal wedding-day vision — they even had a horse-drawn carriage as their transportation!

After the ceremony, "The horse and carriage drove off with only the two of us in the carriage — our flower girl and ring bearer had to run after us — a funny and endearing moment," says the couple.

Centerpieces of hydrangeas, roses and lilies by Ralph Anthony and framed photos of the couple adorn each reception table. The couple left personalized thank-you letters to each guest at their tables — a thoughtful idea suggested by David Tutera. A sentimental slideshow featuring the couple’s close friends and family played during the reception.

The four-tiered vanilla, marble and red velvet cake with buttercream frosting is adorned with flowers and covered with pink scrollwork and piping to match the color scheme.

During the reception, the bride recalls that "Rigo surprised me with a professional singer performing Al Green’s ‘Let’s Stay Together’ and all the guests joined in — it felt as though the entire party was serenading me."
