Flying High: Kelly and Curtis in Camarillo, CA
Curtis and Kelly have been friends since the third grade and became engaged after three years of dating. The couple wanted a DIY, vintage feel to their wedding, to reflect the sentimentality of their long-standing history combined with the quirkiness of their personalities. With a color palette of mint green, coral, marigold and grey against the industrial venue of an airport hangar, the celebration made for a perfect contrast of soft romance with an edge. The bride explains, “Curtis and I share a love of all things vintage, and the Camarillo Airport hangar houses vintage airplanes from World War II, which were used as part of our backdrop.”
