Make your wedding day stand out with these inspiring ideas.

Adorn the backs of the reception chairs with ribbon for a whimsical touch. Cut ribbon into lengths and gently knot the ends to each chair back.
Give guests a glimpse into your courtship with a photo board. Mount photos onto a whiteboard, then place the board on an easel at the entryway of your reception for guests to view upon arrival. Or mount the photos on a banner that you string across a table.
Another banner idea: Precut chipboard letters or numbers. Available at craft stores, they can be covered with fabric or spray-painted. Then, using ribbon and glue, attach them to one another to spell out anything you’d like, such as “Enjoy” above a dessert buffet or “Just Married” for your cake table.

Table Numbers & Escort Cards
Chalkboard details are having a moment. Create your own using picture frames and chalkboard paint (craft or dollar stores are great sources for small frames). Spray-paint the frame your desired color, remove the glass and apply one or two layers of chalkboard paint to it with a sponge brush, allowing paint to dry overnight. Set the painted glass back into the frame and use chalk to mark table numbers or names.

Or consider wine-inspired table numbers: Place a bottle on each table (along with a corkscrew and the directive to open and enjoy) and hang a table number from its neck.

All sorts of rustic items can be used to help your guests find their seats. Use antique window shutters to create an escort-card display by inserting the cards into its slats, or by clipping them on with mini clothespins. Or, hammer rows of nails into a vintage door and hang escort-card tags from them.
