"Ask your vendors to allow plenty of time for travel and always have them purchase travel insurance and follow the lead. It's imperative to have a plan B for issues that may come up when it comes to traveling for a destination wedding," says Aviva Samuels from Kiss the Planner. Review the policy carefully so you know what is covered and keep the travel insurance company's information on hand in case you need to contact them.
