All of the oils can cause a film to build up on your diamond. If you only have a few minutes to clean it before heading to a party or event, try wiping it with a lint-free cloth. If you have more time, you can soak your ring in a solution of dishwashing liquid and water for 30 minutes, then scrub out dirt gently with a soft brush.
