Paige Green and Geoffrey Jensen had instant chemistry when they first met at a gathering of friends. A few years later, they were engaged and planning a heartfelt ceremony with a homespun feel.
Since they wanted their wedding to be a reflection of their personalities, the couple chose colors that felt natural to them — slate blue, brown, cream and green — as their wedding palette.
Wooden signs were a perfect fit for the outdoor venue.
“Geoff and I planted a tree during our ceremony. It’s still growing and is a beautiful reminder of our wedding day," the bride shares.
Many of the wedding details, including the typewritten invitations, were handmade by the couple with the help of friends and family. The bride and her mother collected an assortment of vintage brooches for Geoff and his groomsmen to wear in place of boutonnieres. Paige and her maid of honor also crocheted each of the groomsmen’s ties by hand.
Guests participated in a unique bread toast as a nod to the groom’s profession.
The reception tent featured banquet tables topped with vintage handkerchief table runners and centerpieces composed of antique books and flower-filled coffee carafes.
Each member of Paige and Geoff’s wedding party — which consisted of 10 bridesmaids, a junior bridesmaid, 10 groomsmen, a flower girl and two ring bearers — received a small embroidered pouch as a memento of their special day.
