It's the ultimate meet-cute moment. "Jared and I met at three months old, when my mom babysat him one afternoon," Jamie says. Fastforward through shared middle and high schools ("we weren’t friends"), the couple finally teamed up romantically at Penn State University. After seven years of dating, the groom devised an uber-romantic surprise rooftop proposal, replete with roses, champagne, and a violinist.

The venue, the Glen Foerd Delaware River estate, is on the National Register of Historic Places. The couple aimed for a setting that was “romantic and outdoors, not traditional looking.”
"When we turned around to face our guests and take in the moment, you can see in the photo how special this was," Jamie says.
Ceremony flowers included garden roses, peonies, and ranunculus mixed with dusty greens. "If I had to describe our theme it would be ethereal, romantic, rustic chic," Jamie says
