Garden Glory: Ashley & AJ in Bloomfield, MI
While enjoying the artistry of Gardens By The Bay in Singapore, AJ popped the question to Ashley after three years of dating. The two had unknowingly grown up just a mile apart, but didn’t meet until Ashley’s senior year at Michigan State University. The couple chose a nature-oriented venue similar to their engagement location for their nuptials and reception: The Planterra Conservatory, a garden and greenhouse event space 25 miles outside of Detroit. “It was exactly what we wanted,” Ashley said. “We were able to celebrate in nature without worrying about the weather.”
