The crisp, clean invitations featured swirling cursive fonts and subtle touches of color.

Christian and Samantha dated for seven years and as he planned his proposal he wanted it to be wow-worthy for his future wife. Samantha came home to a trail of rose petals and flickering candles that led her outside where she discovered a stunning archway covered in even more roses and twinkling lights. It was there that Christian asked her to marry him and through joyful tears, she said “Yes!”

The bridal party had fun posing for photos with pink-accented umbrellas.

With no specific theme in mind, the couple opted for decor that transported guests into a warm, fairy tale-like environment. Selecting a color scheme of green, white and blush, the couple played up an amorous vibe with a reception site decked out in florals, sparkling lights and glimmering candles.

Initially aiming for a destination wedding, the couple ultimately selected to host their nuptials at Samantha’s family home in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. “We wanted a formal backyard wedding that felt romantic and chic,” said the bride. The reception site was abloom with flowers in blush, ivory and white including roses and hydrangeas.

The ceremony was held at Samantha’s childhood church. A wedding-white vintage trolley transported guests to and from the festivities, while the couple stepped into a horse-drawn carriage for a leisurely — not to mention glamorous — ride to the reception site.

Despite being thrown a weather-related curveball just days before the wedding that left the grounds flooded with rainwater, luck was on the couple’s side and the site was up and running in time for the blissful day.
