Choosing to forgo traditional bouquets, each bridesmaid carried an individual king protea.

Having dated for seven years, Becca and Justin were totally in tune with each other’s likes and dislikes, from lm to food, music to travel destinations. So, once Justin popped the question (during a romantic horse ride in Montana), the college sweethearts’ wedding planning fell into place with ease.

Guests were given pre-wedding goodie bags filled with the couple’s favorite sweet treats. The couple implemented a variety of personal touches throughout the day, including surprises for their guests: personalized notes, handmade illustrations, keepsake drawings and yummy goodies such as late-night french fries and s’mores.

The bride's bouquet featured roses, eucalyptus, king protea and blue thistle.

The bride and groom say “I do!” under a floral ceremony arch bursting with roses, eucalyptus and succulents.

Pops of dusty pinks and cornflower blues brought to mind the feeling of a desert in bloom.

The bride’s sister surprised the couple with an on-site portrait, painted by a professional artist hired for the occasion.

Choosing their venue was a no-brainer. “We love vacationing in the California desert, and the Parker Palm Springs has been a favorite place to stay for years,” the couple say. “We didn’t have to search any further.”

During the cocktail hour, the new Mr. and Mrs. sneak off together in a white Lamborghini for a sunset photo.
