Currently living in Boston, the couple decided to travel back to Alison's home state of Florida for their wedding. "We always went to South Seas Island Resort for family get-togethers; we love the vibe out there and the fact that all of our friends and family can come enjoy a long weekend in a spot they might not have been to, while also celebrating with us."

After meeting at a mutual friend's birthday party, Alison and Colby dated for six years before Colby popped the question while visiting a winery with Alison's family. "He totally shocked me and proposed when we were just walking around with my family!"

When COVID-19 changed their wedding plans, Alison decided to save her original gown for the 2022 reception. She wore an off-the-shoulder gown by Lovers & Friends.

Alison's bouquet featured eucalyptus-style greenery and simple white flowers.

One of Alison's favorite memories is how relaxed the whole day felt. "Because we had a small elopement-style day, there was no rushing around in the morning. I loved having the girl time when we got our hair and makeup done."

Family members all pitched in to help the beach ceremony come together. Alison's stepmom designed the flowers for the archway and flower girl baskets, while her sister-in-law and brother set up all of their chairs and decorations.

The newlyweds wrote their own vows. "We both blew each other away, and it made the day even more special."

The groom wore a classic tuxedo by Alain Dupetit.

Alison's nieces were the most adorable flower girls.
