Given the hotel’s history and retro-chic ambience, the newlyweds themed their celebration around vintage Hollywood glamour, incorporating a classic scheme of black, white, navy and shimmery gold. To set the mood, a red carpet lined with velvet ropes and a cluster of photographers offered guests a celebrity-style photo op.

After dating for three-and-a-half years, Jacque stunned KarriAnn by proposing while the pair modeled for a local magazine’s bridal photo shoot. The couple spent the next year searching for the perfect celebratory venue. Cue The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, an iconic cultural monument that has served as the entertainment industry’s backdrop for nearly a century.

The bride and groom said “I do” in the hotel’s Historic Lobby while the reception took place just steps away in the Blossom Ballroom, where the first Academy Awards were held.

In remembrance of Jacque’s mother, small bouquets of gardenias, her favorite flower, were placed on reception tables.

Escort cards were displayed around a lush magnolia tree centerpiece.

The reception’s expansive ceilings, stylish Art Deco decor and overall opulence exuded impeccable 1920s allure.

Sky-high arrangements of ivory roses, hydrangeas and magnolia leaves anchored the ornately styled dinner tables.

Lustrous table runners, gold-edged plates and gilded silverware made for truly fine dining. A mix of votives and mini glass lanterns provided romantic lighting throughout.

The four-tiered black cake featured minimalist blooms and strawberry filling. Along with an impressive four-course dinner, an array of late-night treats were served from a Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams cart. KarriAnn said, “We wouldn’t change one moment.”
