How to Make Your Beach Wedding Unique

A wedding on the beach is such a good idea — it's relaxing and romantic. But other than a sandy aisle and white resin chairs, not a lot of couples know what to do with this space. Things can get tricky with an aisle runner (which we don't recommend), and sometimes beaches won't allow anything thrown, included rose petals or confetti. Finding out the rules and regulations is part of the planning process for one amazing beach wedding.

"Talk with local venues, local planners, florists and photographers before locking in just one vendor. Tip of the Day: It's not uncommon to be unsure of where to begin when choosing your wedding colors. "My best advice is to find a photo that moves you," says event designer Sasha Souza. A single photo can contain many palette possibilities, depending on which color combinations you decide to focus on. Put your colors together and then wait a day or two, Sasha says. "If you come back to your palette and it still makes you feel joyous and excited, you've found your color inspirations."
