"While same-sex marriages recently became legal across The United States, other countries may not be as accepting yet. Among the most popular and open-minded outside the U.S. are Buenos Aires in Argentina, Cape Town in South Africa, Copenhagen in Denmark, Mykonos in Greece, Queenstown in New Zealand, and Madrid in Spain, just to name a few. These stunning locations will provide you with numerous happy memories and a great experience. If you choose to get married somewhere in the United States, consider San Francisco, California or Boston, Massachusetts, as they are extremely LGBT-friendly locations and have been supportive of same-sex unions for many years," says Aviva Samuels from Kiss the Planner.

Tip of the Day: Many brides spend countless hours pouring over the finest details of their wedding invitation suite. And with good reason; your invitation does more than simply invite your guests to share your special day with you, but it also sets the tone and expectation of your event!

"Don’t forget to have your photographer capture your full wedding invitation suite. You may even want to take a step further and provide a background that compliments the wedding-day papers. I like to bring a piece of mounted pretty clean white fabric to each of our events to make sure we have the perfect backdrop for the photograph. Think about other items that might complement the photograph as well; a single shell, velvet ribbon or sprig of rosemary may be the perfect added touch," says Sarah Miller, event designer at Caplan Miller Events.
