Tip of the Day: You and your future husband can each personalize your wedding vows by selecting an "opening line" of your favorite quote or poem, but keep it a secret from the other. This will give the vows a cohesive feel, but still deliver an element of surprise (unless you both happen to choose the same quote!). Twitter can be a great resource for daily love quote inspiration.
We're also loving the idea of incorporating snippets of your wedding readings in your ceremony décor. For example, you could alternate "love is patient" and "love is kind" signs on every other row end chair at the ceremony. Check out more stunning ceremony décor ideas here.
Most photographers will capture a photo of your dress and shoes before you put them on; sweeten the shot by adding your groom's attire, too!

Tip of the Day: Entertain your youngest guests by setting up a kids' VIP lounge at your reception. Hire a babysitter to work on fun activities with them, such as an "I Spy" photo challenge for the older kids (provide a list of snapshots they must take) and coloring books for the younger ones. Provide kid-friendly coordinated seating (such as beanbag chairs or low couches) for a true "lounge" feel. Before you include video games, consider that most only allow two players at a time, so the other kids may get restless waiting for their turn. Instead, we'd recommend screening a group-pleasing movie.

Tip of the Day: Ask your craftier friends and relatives (especially those with school-age kids), if they have any leftover craft supplies that they'd be willing to donate to you for your wedding DIY projects. Odds are that they will be happy to get rid of some of the clutter! Packages of tiny crystals, beads or other embellishments are treasure troves for print items and décor.

Tip of the Day: According to traditional etiquette, you should shop for your mom's dress first, then make plans to get your mother-in-law's dress. Don't let schedules shuffle this important etiquette order, or feelings could get hurt! We'd also advise against shopping for your wedding gown and mom's dress at the same time, which could cause too much stress. Besides, it's more fun to make it into two separate trips.
