One of my favorite ways to incorporate color is beyond the design of the event: encouraging your guests to wear fun colors and patterns. 3. Try color-blocking your wedding party. "Color is the new way of the world, and there are endless ways to incorporate it into your special day. One of my favorite methods is color blocking! For this style, you choose a palette of varying (but complementary) colors and group them together throughout your event. This could look like blocks of certain colors down the center of a long table or across several tables in your floor plan. 6. Opt for ombré. "Another way to use color is to work within a single color story, but varying shades of that color. For example, you might work within a blue color palette, but incorporate shades from deep indigo to a brighter teal to a paler light blue — similar to ombré, but without the strict gradient structure.
