Tip of the Day: "One of the best ways to ensure that your photographer meets your expectations is to have a planning session with them about two weeks before the big day. They'll help you put together your wedding-day timeline, a list of 'must-have' photos, and a checklist of who needs to be available when and where," says John Gentry from John Gentry Photography, a member of Professional Photographers of America.
Having a plan in place will help put you at ease on the big day so that you can focus on what's important: having fun with your spouse! "Your photographer will be the only vendor who will be with you for every portion of your wedding, so it’s important to be in agreement with them before you arrive," Gentry explains.
