Lights, camera, action! Elaine went on a date to the movies with her fiancé Mario but little did she know they were going to be the main attraction. They got married on the spot in a surprise wedding orchestrated by Break.com as part of their pranks-for-good series Prank It FWD, now in its second season.
The Jersey City couple fell in love on the set of a zombie movie that Elaine was filming. After Mario had proposed, she was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma at just 30 years old; he quit his job to take care of her, and the couple postponed their wedding plans. "You don't know the pain it is to see your loved one going through this, and there was absolutely nothing I could do," Mario says.
Six years after getting engaged, the couple was still unmarried and struggling to pay for Elaine's medical bills. During their vows, the bride-to-be confessed "I never expected you to be there for me through thick and thin. And when you stayed through everything I just knew you were The One. I love you."
Watch the couple's heartwarming journey from "in sickness and health" to finally saying their "I do's":
