To celebrate the upcoming fifth season premiere of My Fair Wedding with David Tutera, airing on WEtv on November 13 at 9 PM, David threw a stunning party for over 1,200 guests last week at the Park Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles. The luxe venue was decorated with beautiful long-stem red roses and tons of crystals. Three red carpets covered the staircase—and two of those carpets were actually dress trains!
Guests also got a first look at the incredibly touching first episode, which follows Wendy, 39, and Rocky, 41, of Topeka, Kansas. When Wendy's 17-year-old son, Ryan, was diagnosed with cancer, the couple put their wedding plans on hold so that Ryan could receive the treatment he needed. Now in remission, Ryan wanted to pay back his mom; he asked the Make-A-Wish Foundation to bring David Tutera out to Topeka to give his mom the wedding of her dreams.
With just six days until the big day, David was able to truly take Wendy's vision and transform it into an event beyond her wildest imagination. Check out a sneak peek at the gorgeous décor!
And there was a special surprise for the happy family at the end of the night; you'll have to watch the episode to find out what they're looking at in this photo! "You think I was going to come to Topeka without doing something so over the top? I had to make it big and dramatic," said David.
"I got far more than my wish. I got my mom, and now my dad, for the rest of my life," said Ryan.
