When it was time to plan her bridal shower, bride-to-be Ursula had one requirement: The party had to include purple.
By: Stefania Sainato"It's always been my favorite color, ever since I was a little girl. The bridesmaids wore dark purple at my wedding, we used purple flowers and lighting at the reception, and our wedding invitations and cake had matching purple ribbon," she said.
Her sisters planned the girls-only party at a friend's condo. Although Michaël, or "Mick" (Ursula's now-husband and a former "Survivor" finalist), didn't attend, he wrote a sweet note to the bride that they read out loud at the shower.
The toilet paper game was another highlight: "I absolutely loved it! That was hilarious, my mother-in-law looked awesome," said Ursula. Laura, her photographer, agrees: "I must say, secretly deep down inside, toilet paper bride is my all-time favorite bridal shower game. The outfits that people make out of toilet paper are amazing!"
