Website We're Obsessed With: Google Weddings

Google, which started as the little search engine that could, has now turned out more user-friendly web products than just about any other Internet brand. It's latest launch, though, is one brides-to-be can really appreciate: Google Weddings. This clean-lined site offers a multitude of services and programs for a busy fiancee. Build your wedding website, where you can provide guests with the details of your upcoming nuptials, or share your engagement photos using a Google Picasa Web Album. My favorite part, though, has got to be the streamlined use of Google Docs, where you can use templates to track your bridal budget, RSVPs, and upcoming vendor meetings.
Another large factor as to why the site is so successful comes from Google's partner on the project, wedding planner Michelle Rago (who does the most gorgeous designs). Rago, who specializes in destination affairs, not only offered her guidance as to which Google programs would work best in weddings, but also provided her top tips free of charge. When Rago spoke with us, she said that it's "a great way to get your guys involved in planning—especially with real-time sharing." Bottom line, though, "Google Weddings it takes everything bridal, distills it and makes the information available and straightforward, because that's how I am," adds Rago.
