Their on-screen affair didn't last, but the pair found real-life romance after meeting on set last year. A friend revealed to Us Weekly: "Vincent proposed a few weeks ago. She's been wearing her ring. It's huge!"
On the show, Bledel plays the role of Kartheiser's mistress. But she assures fans that he's nothing like his creepy character, Pete: "He's light and funny and has lots of energy on set. He keeps everybody energized as well. Very, very different than Pete," she told AMCtv.com.
First spotted kissing on a plane last summer, they attended Bledel's Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants co-star Amber Tamblyn's wedding together in the fall. According to Hollywood Life, Kartheiser told pals at the wedding that he was hoping to propose to Bledel soon. "He was saying they might elope and do parties in New York, LA, and her hometown, Houston," the source revealed.
