Traditionally, the bridal shower is reserved for the bride's nearest and dearest. But what about when there are two grooms? Or when you're only close with the groom and want to celebrate him? Introducing the bro-dal shower — "like a bridal shower... for dudes." The editors at BuzzFeed Life just threw two fun showers for their betrothed male coworkers.
The first shower — a casual afternoon party — featured a lumberjack theme.
The menu featured man-pleasing fare like meat, cheese, bacon, and beer. Here, a carving board piled high with meat and cheese:
The men enjoyed shots of "The Beard Tickler" — whiskey with moonshine-soaked cherries:
And a tree trunk cake — with an axe for cutting, of course.
Since no shower is complete without a game or two, the lumberjacks decided on a beard-decorating game, inspired by Tumblr.
And a temporary tattoo station had plenty of rustic designs:
