1. To be eligible, all entrants must:
a. Be 18 years of age or older.
b. Be involved in a committed relationship and be prepared to run the race and propose to their partner.
c. Be available to participate in the Contest on Thursday, February 20, 2014.
d. Bring a phone for capturing video and photos.
e. Consent that RFP Corp., Bridal Guide, cityHUNT, Contest sponsors and media outlets may use the entrants’ names, photographs, or other likenesses, hometown and biographical information, statements concerning the Contest, RFP Corp., Bridal Guide, cityHUNT or the sponsors without compensation for purposes of advertising, promotion, and merchandising, and grant all rights to edit or modify and to publish and copyright it.
f. Agree to sign Bridal Guide’s Registration and Liability Waiver before participating in the Contest. This document includes a waiver of all claims of liability against Bridal Guide, RFP Corp., cityHUNT, prize sponsors, clue locations, and all their affiliates, agents and employees for damages and injuries resulting from their participation in this Contest;
g. All entrants entering via Facebook must have a valid Facebook account at the time of entry.
2. By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to submit to interviews by Bridal Guide, cityHUNT, and their affiliates, and any other media approved by Bridal Guide and agree to allow photographs and relevant personal details and interview transcripts to appear in Bridal Guide and on bridalguide.com and in any other media approved by Bridal Guide.
3. Entrants agree that if he/she wins, he/she will notify Bridal Guide of their wedding plans and agree that wedding details may appear in Bridal Guide.
4. Contest details as follows:
a. Entries must be received by 12:00 pm on February 17, 2014.
b. ONLY ONE ENTRY PER PERSON. MULTIPLE ENTRIES WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE DISQUALIFICATION.
c. Approximately 30 randomly selected qualified entrants who enter at bridalguide.com/racefortherock OR facebook.com/bridalguide OR send or deliver a postcard to us at Race for the Rock Entries, Bridal Guide, 228 East 45 Street, 11 Floor, New York, NY 10017 will be selected to participate in the Contest. Entries must include the following information: Name, age, address, mobile phone, email, partner's name, partner's age, and the sentence “I have read and agree to the Rules for Bridal Guide’s Race for the Rock cityHUNT Contest.”
d. Entrants via Facebook will be required to “Like” the Bridal Guide Magazine page at facebook.com/bridalguide in order to gain access to the Contest entry form. (If you have previously “liked” this Sponsor’s Facebook Page, you will not be required to repeat this action for entry). Next, click on the designated “Race for the Rock” tab, which will prompt you to complete the form.
e. Participants will be notified of start date, time and location and must appear at the given time. Late entrants cannot participate in the Contest.
f. All participants will be given clues and tasks to complete in and around New York City. The winners of the prize must sign the Declaration of Eligibility. Should the winners fail to sign the Declaration of Eligibility, the runners up will become the winners.
g. Facebook Disclosure: This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook. By participating, you hereby release and hold harmless Facebook from any and all liability associated with this promotion. You are providing your information to Bridal Guide, RFP Corp., Harry Kotlar, and London Jewelers NY, and not to Facebook. The information you provide will only be used for administering this contest and for marketing purposes in accordance with Sponsor’s privacy policy.
h. Facebook Entry Form Disclosure: The Facebook contest entry form is powered by Vitrue. Vitrue does not endorse, sponsor, or administer this promotion. By participating, you hereby release and hold harmless Vitrue from any and all liability associated with this promotion.
5. The prize consists of one (1) Harry Kotlar platinum and diamond engagement ring from Two by London at the Americana in Manhasset, NY, and Bridal Guide, retail value approximately $14,000. Entrants agree that if they win, they will sign Bridal Guide’s Declaration of Eligibility. (A copy of the Declaration of Eligibility may be obtained by sending a stamped, self-addressed envelope to: Declaration of Eligibility, Bridal Guide’s Race for the Rock, 228 East 45 Street, 11 Floor, New York, NY 10017.)
6. Entrants must enter as described in Paragraphs 4a-d above. Entering indicates agreement with and intention to comply with the official Contest rules. RFP Corp., Bridal Guide, cityHUNT, Harry Kotlar, and Two by London are not responsible for incomplete, misdirected, lost, garbled or illegible entries.
7. Bridal Guide reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal value by the same or other sponsors. Prize cannot be exchanged for alternate prizes or cash. Bridal Guide also reserves the right to withdraw prize for any reason.
8. CONTEST IS OPEN TO RESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. Employees and their immediate families of Bridal Guide, RFP Corp., cityHUNT, Harry Kotlar, Two by London and their participating supplier companies and their respective subsidiaries and advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible.
9. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Taxes are the winners’ responsibility.
10. Bridal Guide’s Race for the Rock cityHUNT is conducted by Bridal Guide magazine and cityHUNT, 228 East 45 Street, 11 Floor, New York, NY 10017.
